Find The Root Cause
The spine is a complex structure in that there quite a few things that can go wrong.
Your back is separated into three sections in order to better determine the origin and isolate any problems you may have.
These three sections are called:
- Cervical Spine
- Thoracic Spine
- Lumbar Spine

Inside each section of your spine resides your spinal cord, which your nerves branch off of to send and receive signals such as pain. These are often used as prefixes to help describe a more specific spine condition, such as Lumbar Disc Herniation, Cervical Foraminal Stenosis, or Thoracic Spinal Stenosis.
You can see more detailed descriptions of each specific condition here.
